It is proposed to construct a residential development comprising five townhouses on land at 7 Fairhill Street, Ballycastle, Co. Antrim. An archaeological evaluation was conducted at the site. This consisted of the removal of topsoil across the northern half of the site. The evaluation revealed no evidence of archaeological deposits within this area. An inspection of the southern half of the site indicated that it had been reduced below the limit of undisturbed subsoil by previous construction activity.
