This site, c. 4km south-west of Wicklow town, was comprised of furrows and lazy-beds. The archaeological investigation was undertaken in March 2006 on behalf of the National Roads Authority on the route of the N11 Rathnew to Arklow road improvement. The site, located on level ground, is within the north-east of the constraint area for WI031–045, a flint scatter.
The site comprised three trenches, totalling 1550m2. This site displayed medieval/post-medieval agricultural practices; nine furrows and ten lazy-beds were identified. These features were all aligned north–south.
A pit and a drain were identified in the north of the site. A bann flake was recovered from the topsoil removed from this site.
