Testing at this site was carried out in response to a request for further information from the local authority. No archaeological features were found in any of the trenches.
One of the buildings on the site was of local vernacular interest. Corrugated iron disguised a thatched roof, and a large fireplace was also present within the building. The building is likely to have been a forge.
