Monitoring was undertaken at Pearse Street, Gorey. Planning permission had been granted to demolish a dwelling house and build a new retail/office block. The site is within the historic town of Gorey. Apart from a modern rubbish pit, nothing of archaeological provenance was discovered on the site.
