Monitoring of ground-reduction works was undertaken at the site of a proposed development for a new pedestrian footbridge and footpath at Omagh Arts Centre, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, on 4 April 2006. Overlying deposits measured on average a depth of 1.5m and their removal revealed natural subsoil and the concrete foundations of a flood wall. No archaeological features or artefacts were identified during the course of this monitoring exercise.
