An archaeological evaluation was carried out at a site immediately to the south of 4 Killeen Road, Killeen, Co. Tyrone, in response to a planning application for a dwelling. A standing stone (TYR016–033) is located within the same field as the application site. Four trenches were excavated within the footprint of the proposed dwelling. Disturbance of a modern nature was evident but there were no remains of archaeological significance.
