An archaeological evaluation was required in advance of the construction of a private dwelling. The site is located c. 40m north of a possible crannog (TYR035–008) in a low-lying marshy field. Three test-trenches were excavated across the site and through up to 2m of peat. A number of modern stone-filled drains were found to cut through the site, but nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered in any of the trenches.
