Monitoring of topsoil-stripping was undertaken on 27 March 2006 at a proposed development site at lands adjacent to and opposite 19 Whiterock Park, Cavan Road (Kilcroagh), Castlederg, Co. Tyrone, due to be developed for residential housing. No archaeological features or artefacts were identified within the area under investigation during this phase of works, which included approximately one-third of the total site area. Monitoring works are due to be undertaken during 2007 within the remainder of the proposed development site.
