Testing of a proposed development at Tyone, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, was undertaken on foot of the results of a geophysical survey which revealed the presence of a number of potential archaeological features within the development site. In consultation with the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, a number of potential features were tested but were found not to be archaeological in nature. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered during testing.
