Monitoring of groundworks at Lawlesstown, Clonmel, revealed no archaeological remains that could be associated with the holy well site. Works were located to the north and south of the well but sufficient distance away from the site. The area to the south had been extensively landscaped during previous construction works for the original manufacturing plant facility. The only features uncovered were of modern provenance, including two stone-rich field drains and a removed field boundary.
