Two test-trenches were opened on the site of a proposed livestock shed incorporating an underground slatted storage tank, a feed passage and an overhang within the confines of an existing farmyard. Located c. 75m to the north of the farmyard is a watermill site (possible), on the River Ara. No archaeological features were uncovered in the course of testing works, with both trenches completely featureless.
