Testing was undertaken at Blarney Woollen Mills, Ballynoran, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary, in support of an application for permission to construct an extension to the complex. The proposed development is partially situated within the zone of archaeological potential for TI084–012, a tower-house. Sixteen trenches were excavated across the site of the proposed development, but nothing of archaeological significance was found.
