Test-trenching was carried out as part of the planning schedule for the development of a cattle shed within the zone of potential for a possible castle site at Ballinlonty, Drom. A series of trenches were excavated by mechanical digger at the shed and associated works. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
