A fourth season of monitoring took place regarding the development of a hotel, housing, apartments and a golf-course and the restoration of Castledargan House in a demesne landscape which contains various archaeological monuments at Castledargan and Carrigeenboy, Ballygawley, Co. Sligo. The final groundworks for the golf-course continued throughout 2006 but did not require archaeological intervention. Monitoring will continue in 2007.
