Five test-trenches were opened on the site of a single-house development in the townland of Lissergool, c. 6km south-east of Ballaghaderreen. Situated to the south of the house site, on the opposite side of the public road, is a poorly preserved ringfort. No archaeological features were uncovered in any of the test-trenches.
