Test-trenching was carried out as part of the planning schedule for a housing development within the zone of potential for the ecclesiastical remains at Killeigh. A geophysical survey uncovered no archaeological monuments. A series of trenches were excavated by mechanical digger at the house sites, road network and green spaces. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
