This site was located within Contract 1 (Dunboyne to Dunshaughlin) of the proposed M3 Clonee to north of Kells motorway and was identified during the excavation of nearby sites. A ring-ditch with an eastern entrance was identified, with a spread of charcoal-rich material containing cremated bone inserted into the uppermost ditch fill for c. 3m on either side of the entrance. Animal bone was only recovered from ditch deposits located on either side of the entrance. Internal features included an oval pit with deposits of oxidised material and blackened animal-bone fragments. A small circular pit containing charcoal-rich deposits, packing stones and a worked stone was also identified. Three cremation pits were located outside the ring-ditch, to the north, north-west and south-east.
