Testing was undertaken in this area on 8–13 September 2005 to ascertain its archaeological potential as specified in the EIS. The feature was at an altitude of 105m OD. One linear test-trench 2.5m east–west by 1m by 0.64m deep was excavated by hand. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified in the trench.
