Testing was undertaken on this feature, a possible hut site or fulacht fiadh, on 6 October 2005 in order to assess its archaeological potential as specified in the EIS. The area tested was located at an altitude of 121m OD. An area 20m north–south by 30m was tested using a 360° mechanical digger using a 2m-wide toothless bucket. No archaeological features or deposits were identified.
