Testing was undertaken by hand on this feature from 14 September to 6 October 2005 to ascertain its archaeological potential as specified in the EIS. The feature was located at an altitude of 112m OD. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified. It is probable that this is the remains of a field clearance cairn similar to those identified on the high ridges to the west.
