Excavation of this site took place at a planned housing scheme. The site was one of a number identified as a result of extensive testing (Excavations 2005, No. 1078, 05E0963).

A shallow circular pit/hearth measured 0.94m by 0.81m by 0.09m. The base of the pit was burnt in situ and the fill was dark-grey/brown silty clay with occasional flecks of charcoal. No finds or datable material were recovered from the pit/hearth, which could date to any period. No additional features were identified within the immediate surrounding area.
