Site 9 comprised a horseshoe-shaped burnt spread that measured 22m by 17m by 0.25m deep and 23 associated pits, including a wood-lined trough. Two isolated pits to the south-east of the main excavation area were also recorded. No finds were recovered. A post-medieval field drain truncated the burnt spread.
