Testing of this site at Liscreagh, Murroe, was undertaken due to the proposed development’s scale. Eight trenches were dug, totalling 342 linear metres, across the footprint of the development. All trenches were on average 0.3m in depth and all exposed the natural parent material. Nothing of an archaeological nature was found.
