An excavation was carried out in advance of the construction of a commercial building at Barrington’s, George’s Quay, Limerick. Testing had been conducted on this site by the writer in 2002 (Excavations 2002, No. 1217, 02E1429). The excavation identified a number of post-medieval cellars and post-medieval building remains.
