The site of Dromcolliher Credit Union is located within the zone of archaeological potential of two sites, LI054–040, a church, graveyard and settlement (the town of Dromcolliher), and LI054–022, an enclosure. A vernacular house occupied the front of the site. It was demolished and the groundworks associated with the construction of the Credit Union were monitored. The vernacular house was built directly on to subsoil. There were no associated foundation trenches or slots. No archaeological stratigraphy, features or artefacts were recorded while monitoring.
