Testing of a proposed development, the construction of a slatted cow shed and slurry pit, at Castletown, Ballygran, Co. Limerick, was undertaken as part of an impact assessment. The site is located within the constraint zone for a ringfort (LI038–113). Three test-trenches were excavated in the area of the development and no archaeological finds or features were uncovered.
