Testing of a proposed development site at Ballygrennan, Castletown, Co. Limerick, was undertaken as part of an impact assessment. The site is located outside the constraint zone for Ballygrennan Castle (LI040–007). The development consisted of the construction of an easy-feed layout for dairy cattle. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered during testing.
