Kilkenny County Council requested an archaeological assessment of a proposed single-house development within the area of constraint of KK022–015, ecclesiastical remains. The site was positioned on the opposite side of a country road to the ruins of Kilballykeefe medieval church and graveyard. Three test-trenches were excavated within the proposed development area. Nothing of archaeological interest was noted.
