Monitoring at this site was carried out in response to planning conditions. Medieval and post-medieval features and deposits had been uncovered in testing (Excavations 2004, No. 880) and these were subsequently preserved in situ by the utilisation of raft foundations for the houses. No additional features were uncovered during the monitoring.
