An assessment was undertaken prior to the submission of a planning application for the construction of a single house on a greenfield site at Desart Demesne, Cuffesgrange. The development was positioned adjacent to the area of constraint of KK022–020, an enclosure. Three test-trenches were opened mechanically. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted and the development proceeded with monitoring as a condition of planning.
