Monitoring was undertaken in advance of construction of a proposed realignment of the road between Windgates and Taghadoe (R406) in Co. Kildare. Monitoring of topsoil-stripping took place between 9 and 13 March in areas of the proposed realignment project where ground disturbance will take place during construction. No features or deposits of an archaeological nature were identified.
