Monitoring was carried out prior to the construction of two bungalows, septic tanks and associated works. There was pre-development disturbance of the site prior to the licensee being contacted. The County Council was aware of this disturbance. Monitoring of the remainder of the site was carried out over the course of two days using a track machine with a flat bucket from the topsoil down to the subsoil. During the course of this monitoring activity nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered.
