Testing was undertaken with respect to the development of a vacant site located on Abbey Street, Naas. The site is located within the designated zone of archaeological potential for the town. However, there are no previously identified archaeological monuments or features situated in the immediate environs of the subject site. Three test-trenches were excavated by machine within the area and nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered.
