Monitoring of the laying of pipes that form the Curragh wastewater scheme was ongoing throughout 2005 and the early part of 2006. Work was undertaken along a network of tertiary roads to the south of the Curragh Camp, along the edge of the constraint of The Curragh (KD028–067). The pipeline for the most part was laid using trenchless technology and, as a result, the pits excavated to insert the drill formed the majority of the excavation work. Nothing of archaeological significance was discovered during monitoring works.
