Monitoring was conducted during topsoil-stripping of a site proposed for development at Oldgrange, Monasterevin. The site is c. 11.6 acres in size and 75% of it was stripped of topsoil under monitor in May and June. The monitoring disclosed no material of an archaeological nature. The remainder of the topsoil-stripping was deferred due to an issue with overhead power lines on site.
