Testing was undertaken at a proposed 41-unit residential development at Greenville (Islandganniv North townland), Listowel. The site is located on the western edge of Listowel. There is an enclosure site (KE010–059) situated c. 150m to the east-south-east of the development lands. The proposed development area comprised three fields, the northernmost of which was boggy in nature. A total of fourteen trenches were excavated by machine fitted with a toothless ditching/grading bucket. Nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered.
