Pre-development testing was undertaken at a proposed single-house development partly located within the marked zone of archaeological potential for the site of a rath, KE021–013, at Lissireen, Abbeydorney. Five test-trenches were excavated across the site, measuring 20–25m long, 2m wide and 0.4–0.7m deep; no archaeological features were recorded.
