A post-development impact assessment was undertaken at a large-scale development at Ardshanavooly, Killarney, where the developers had not met their planning conditions and omitted to have licensed archaeological monitoring undertaken as work commenced. As part of the assessment, topsoil was spread out and systematically metal detected; no archaeological artefacts were recorded.
