Pre-development testing was undertaken at a development of two houses at Arabella, Ballymacelligott, in June 2006. Seven test-trenches were excavated by machine with a grading bucket on the footprint of the foundations for both dwellings, on the driveways and in the percolation area. They measured 1.7m wide, 8–14m long and 0.25–0.6m deep. No archaeological features were recorded.
