An evaluation was carried out at a proposed housing site located in Killyclowney, Co. Fermanagh, close to the recorded site of a now unlocated standing stone (FER261–045). Seven trenches were excavated using a mechanical digger equipped with a toothless ‘sheugh’ bucket. Trenches 1–6 measured 2m by 20m; Trench 7 measured 2m by 40m. No archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered.
