An archaeological evaluation was required in advance of the construction of a private dwelling. The proposed development site is located c. 50m south-east of a rath (FER192–020). Eight test-trenches were excavated across the site of the proposed development. The field boundaries were also tested. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered in any of the trenches.
