Trial testing was carried out in December 2006 prior to the construction of apartments on a property at The Regles, Lusk, Co. Dublin. The site of the property is on the north-west side of the village of Lusk, west of the main road running north-west from the village centre. The site was directly south of DU008–008, a mound. It is also adjacent to, but outside and north-west of, the area of archaeological potential as delimited in the RMP record of Lusk town (DU008–010). Although the site was located relatively close to two RMP sites and in an area of high archaeological potential, no archaeological layers or features were identified during trial testing.
