Monitoring was undertaken on the site of a residential development at No. 3 Herbert Place, Irishtown. The site was located on the southern side of Chapel Lane, within the medieval settlement of Irishtown (DU018–054). No previous assessments had been undertaken on the development site. All subsurface works were monitored and no features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified.
