A test excavation was carried out on a proposed residential development site at Chesterfield House, Booterstown, Co. Dublin. Twenty-three trenches were excavated across the 3.2ha greenfield site. A pit filled with 19th-century debris and four plough furrows were identified. No further archaeological features or deposits were exposed and no finds were recovered.
