Monitoring of topsoil-stripping was carried out in advance of a development at Blackhall, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. The development consisted of a two-storey building for use as a nursing home, the renovation of a farmhouse and the creation of a new entrance, carpark and access roads. The site reflected its previous usage as a farm and no features of archaeological significance were identified during the monitoring programme.
