An evaluation was carried out at a cemetery extension site located at Mound Road, Ballyvicknacally, Dromore, in a field adjacent to an enclosure (DOW021–047). Seven trenches were excavated using a mechanical digger equipped with a toothless ‘sheugh’ bucket. Trenches 1–4 measured 2m by 30m, Trenches 5 and 6 measured 2m by 15m and Trench 7 was 2m by 10m, with the centre of this trench disrupted by the boundary hedge with the current cemetery. After evaluating an area of c. 290m2, no archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered.
