Archaeological surveillance of topsoil-stripping was required as a condition of the grant of planning permission for the construction of twelve dwellings. The development site was located just north of the boundary of the historic settlement of Ardglass (DOW045–030). No finds or features of archaeological significance were uncovered during this programme of monitoring.
