Pre-development testing was undertaken along the line of a proposed sewerage pipeline adjacent to the site of an enclosure (DG103–020) in Rossnowlagh, Co. Donegal. In April 2006 two trenches were excavated along the existing roadway where the pipeline is to be located. Both trenches were orientated north–south and measured 20m in length and 1m wide. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered in the course of testing, with the stratigraphy consisting of road surface overlying sand.
