It is proposed to remove an existing four-pole structure to enable the creation of a kiosk substation and to excavate a 60m-wide cable track at Macosquin. Monitoring took place in July 2006. Topsoil was removed from the area where the foundations of the proposed kiosk substation were to be excavated and along the route of the proposed cable trench. No evidence of archaeological features was identified in the cable trench.
