Monitoring of test-trenching took place in advance of the construction of a new housing development site at Lettershandoney, Co. Derry. The site was located to the west of Lettershendony housing estate and was bounded on the remaining sides by peat farmland. It was roughly rectangular in plan and measured c. 250m south-west/north-east by 175m. Trial-trenching took place during May 2006 and a total of fourteen trial-trenches were excavated. Nothing of archaeological significance was present on the site.
